On December 27, the 8th Editorial Board meeting of Plastics magazine was held in Beijing University of Chemical Technology. The new editorial board, consisting of six academicians of the two academies, leaders of industry organizations such as China Plastics Processing Industry Association, leaders of scientific research units and well-known entrepreneurs in the industry, was officially unveiled.
The new editorial board gathers the most authoritative experts in the plastic industry. In addition to experts and scholars led by academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, such as Wang Fusong, Xu Xi, Shen Changyu and Duan Xue, and academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, such as Chen Xiangbao and Qu Jinping, they also include business people such as Huang Xuanbo, chief technology officer of Guangzhou Jinfa Technology Co., LTD.
Yang Mingjin, chief editor of Plastics Magazine, believes that the new editorial board composed of academists, well-known scholars, heads of associations and entrepreneurs makes Plastics magazine more innovative in academic monographics, practical in technical papers, authoritative in literature reviews, timeliness in information reporting, reliability in production experience and predictability in market dynamics.
It is understood that "Plastic" is a national plastic professional technology core journal, founded in 1972, has published 40 volumes, more than 200 issues. Over the years, Plastic magazine has grasps the three elements of style innovation, popularity and quality improvement, and has achieved leapforward development by holding a series of commemorative activities for the 30th anniversary of its founding. In 2011, according to the statistical data of journal impact factor of 2010 released by the China Trust Office of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the impact factor of Plastic magazine ranked first in the "plastic" industry journals, and ranked second in the 69 "chemical engineering" core academic journals in the country.
At THE EDITORIAL BOARD meeting, FIVE enterprises and institutions, including THE National Engineering Technology Research Center for Composite Modified Polymer Materials and Beijing Yanshan Jilian Petrochemical Co., LTD., officially became the first batch of co-organizers of Plastic magazine.
