Application: The paint film has excellent adhesion and water resistance, outstanding anti-corrosion performance, and features such as a thick single coating film. It is widely used as an anti-corrosion primer for ships, Bridges and large metal structures.

Product color and composition

Color: Iron red, red lead, gray

Composition: Formulated from chlorinated rubber, pigments, extender pigments, additives and organic solvents.

Average density: 1.46g/ml

Original paint viscosity: (25℃) 100-150 seconds

Number of coating coats: 1-2

Theoretical coating area: 4-7 square meters /kg

The thickness of one coat of paint film: The wet film thickness is approximately 170 μm, and the dry film thickness is approximately 70 μm.

Drying time: (At 25℃) Surface drying ≤2 hours

Practical work ≤24 hours

Coating interval: (25℃) Minimum 9 hours, maximum unlimited hours.

Thinner: Chlorinated rubber paint thinner, dilution rate 10-15% (by weight)

Construction method: Airless spraying; Brushing; Roller coating

Reference construction viscosity: 120 seconds for airless spray; Brush for 60 to 80 seconds; Roll coating 60-80s;

Surface treatment: Shot blasting and sandblasting for rust removal to reach the standard Sa2.5 grade, or use power tools to reach the standard St3 grade, and remove surface oil stains, moisture and impurities, etc.

Construction conditions: To prevent water vapor condensation, the temperature should be above the dew point, the relative humidity below 80%, and good ventilation should be maintained during the drying period.

The matching coating: The previous matching coating is epoxy zinc-rich primer, etc., and the subsequent matching coating is chlorinated rubber topcoat

Storage period: 12 months

Packaging: 20kg per drum
