Product application
It is used as a topcoat or intermediate layer for steel objects, cement and concrete, featuring excellent water resistance and chemical penetration resistance, high adhesion and mechanical strength. It not only has ideal anti-corrosion properties but also certain decorative effects. Epoxy glass flake coatings are suitable for anti-corrosion of steel pipes, various steel structures, storage tanks and containers in environments with harsh corrosive conditions, as well as for the inner lining of flue gas desulfurization, denitrification and dust removal equipment and flues in environmental protection projects.

Performance 1: The glass flake is a medium-alkali glass with excellent chemical resistance and anti-aging performance, as well as corrosion resistance and temperature change resistance.
2: Glass flakes are arranged in parallel and stacked with the substrate in the coating to form a dense anti-seepage layer. In a 1-2mm coating, there can be up to hundreds of layers, which makes the path of medium penetration and diffusion tortuous and greatly prolongs the time for the medium to penetrate and diffuse to the substrate.
3: Glass flakes form numerous small areas in the coating, causing cracks and bubbles in the resin to separate from each other. This reduces the difference in thermal expansion coefficients between the coating and the substrate, lowers the hardening shrinkage rate and internal stress of the coating, inhibits coating cracking and peeling, and enhances the adhesion and impact resistance of the cracked coating.

4 Safety Measures
This paint is flammable and contains volatile flammable solvents, so it must be kept away from sparks and open flames.
2. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the workplace. Effective measures should be taken to prevent the generation of sparks (such as using explosion-proof electrical equipment, eliminating static electricity accumulation, and avoiding metal impacts, etc.).
3. The construction site should be kept well-ventilated as much as possible. To eliminate the explosion hazard during use, it is necessary to ensure sufficient ventilation volume to maintain the gas/air ratio not exceeding 10% of the minimum explosion limit. Generally, 200 cubic meters of ventilation volume per kilogram of solvent (depending on the type of solvent) can maintain a working environment of 10% of the minimum explosion limit.
4. Take effective measures to prevent direct contact of the skin and eyes with the paint (such as wearing work clothes, gloves, goggles, face masks and applying protective oil, etc.). If the skin accidentally comes into contact with the product, please thoroughly wash it with clean water and soap or an appropriate industrial cleaner. If your eyes are contaminated, rinse them immediately with clean water for at least 10 minutes and seek medical attention promptly.
